Lake Effect Winery doesn’t produce your
ordinary fruit wines – we produce
extraordinary fruit wines. Our wines introduce
full fruit flavors without the intense sweetness
often found in fruit juices, and many fruit
wines. As a result, our wines tend to be drier
than people usually expect in a fruit wine. But,
that’s what makes Lake Effect wines have
such a unique and satisfying taste.
Lake Effect Winery uses all natural fruit and doesn’t use any sulfites in
the winemaking process, including equipment sterilization. However, sulfites
are naturally produced in the fermentation process. Yeast produces
sulfites in the form of H2S (Hydrogen Sulfite). While most of the sulfites
are vented in the process, some remain suspended in the wine. So, sit back,
relax and enjoy a glass of a unique fruit wine.
